The truth about sugar in fruit
I was teaching a class, and a student dismissed the health benefits of fruit because, as she put it, “it’s full of sugar”. You won’t be surprised to hear this wasn’t the first time I’d heard this ‘sugar in fruit = bad’ idea.This thought that fruit is somehow a bad thing to eat came into full swing with the low carb diet craze a few years ago. But the myth persists. Not a week goes by that I don’t hear someone tell me that they avoid fruit because it’s “all sugar” or “loaded with carbs”. So, I’m here to set the record straight and come to the defense of some of the world’s healthiest foods – fresh, whole fruits.
Sugar in fruit – what are the facts?
I’ll tackle the “fruit is all sugar” statement first – because it’s just plain wrong. Fresh fruit offers so much more than the natural sugar it contains – including water, vitamins, minerals, fiber and phytonutrients (those naturally-occurring plant compounds that have wide ranging beneficial effects on the body). Where else can you get a package like that for about 75 calories per serving?The idea that fruit is “loaded with carbs” or is “full of sugar” needs to be put into perspective, too. It’s true that when you eat fruit, the overwhelming majority of the calories you consume are supplied by carbohydrate – mostly in the form of fructose, which is the natural sugar in fruit.
But that’s the nature not just of fruit, but of all plant foods – they’re predominantly carbohydrate (and that means not just natural sugars, but healthy starches as well as structural elements, like cellulose, that provide fiber). When you eat vegetables, the majority of the calories you’re eating come from carbohydrate, too. But you don’t hear people complaining that vegetables are “loaded with carbs”.
Before dismissing foods as being loaded with sugar, or too high in carbs, consider not only the amount of sugar or carbs you’re eating, but the form of the carbohydrate, too. There’s a big difference between the nutritional value of the natural carbohydrates found in fruits and other plant foods – the sugars, starches and fibers – and what’s found (or, more accurately, what’s not found) in all the empty calories we eat from added sugars that find their way into everything from brownies to barbecue sauce.
Faced with a serving of fruit, how much sugar are we talking about, anyway? An average orange has only about 12 grams of natural sugar (about 3 teaspoons) and a cup of strawberries has only about 7 grams – that’s less than two teaspoons. And either way, you’re also getting 3 grams of fiber, about a full day’s worth of vitamin C, healthy antioxidants and some folic acid and potassium to boot – and it’ll only cost you about 50 or 60 calories. “All sugar”? I think not.
By contrast, a 20-ounce cola will set you back about 225 calories and, needless to say, won’t be supplying any antioxidants, vitamins, minerals or fiber. You’ll just be chugging down some carbonated water, maybe some artificial color and flavor, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 grams of added sugar – about 1/3 of a cup.
Now that’s what I call “full of sugar”.

REQUIREMENTS
You should only use this guide on HTC One Smartphone M9 and not one of the other options such as smartphones or M8 M7.
Before starting
You need to unlock the bootloader HTC One M9.
Download the ADB and fastboot files.
Download the beta version for HTC One TWRP recovery M9.
INSTALLING RECOVERY TWRP HTC ONE M9
1. Unzip the ADB and fastboot files to the computer.
2. Transfer the recovery image TWRP "TWRP-2.8.6.x-hima.img" file to the same folder containing fastboot.
3. Keep the fastboot folder and open the mouse click and hold down the Shift key while in a blank space in the folder.
4. Select to open the command prompt of one of the option in the menu.
5. Now completely off the M9 holding the power key for more than five seconds.
6. Reboot into Download Mode by holding Volume Down and Power buttons together, now release the power button but continue holding the Volume Down key, which is now in boot loader mode.
7. Once you see the screen change, you should use the volume key down to scroll the display to the option hovering over the "Boot to download Mode" option. You have to press the power button to confirm moving.
8. Rename the file TWRP-2.8.6.x-hima.img to recovery.img.
9. Connect the HTC One M9 to the computer via the USB cable and from the command line, type the following command:
"Fastboot flash recovery recovery img"
Thats all you need to do to install TWRP recovery.

Now create a single folder and change the content on the new folder you made.
Download image TWRP here. Follow the same steps and eventually extract and transfer the contents to the same folder as the file only Fastboot.

Select Fastboot on the menu and wait until your device changes from the boot loader mode to fastboot mode.

I never liked Samsung Kies and used Windows Explorer for File and Media Management on Android Phone. Somehow, it is not so convenient and didn’t had option to backup Contacts and Messages. So, Dedicated Phone Management software was necessary. Here we will be going through two Free software to perform all Android tasks directly from Windows Desktop.
1. SnapPea
SnapPea is a small freeware to control your android smartphone from Windows. All you need to do is connect your phone to PC once SnapPea is installed. SnapPea will automatically install your phone drivers on Windows and SnapPea agent on your phone.
Once connected, your phone details will appear on SnapPea welcome screen. You can set auto backup if necessary, use this feature if you are on a personal PC. Apps can be installed directly from Google play to your phone, optionally you can also select the install location on phone.
You can also send and manage messages from SnapPea. Additionally you can sync music files from PC to phone and vice versa. SnapPea also has a Chrome extension. So, if you are not in mood to install the desktop application just use it in a new tab.
DOWNLOAD SNAPPEA2. MobileGO
Installation of MobileGo requires Mobile USB drivers to be already installed which if not, setup will prompt, download and install itself. Before connecting your phone to PC, USB Debugging mode should be activated as it installs MobileGo Daemon on Phone.
Interface of MobileGo is classified according to type of Files ad Content namely Contacts, SMS Messages, Music, Movies and Photos. You can add / edit / backup / restore Messages and Contacts in one click. Also, the Music and Movie management lets you organize playlists, add new songs to library or set them as ringtone.
Along with Data Management, it supports SMS / Contacts and Application Backup on demand which can be restored when needed. In my case however, it didn’t detect any Appliction installed (maybe because of Custom ROM) but SMS and Contacts backup worked fine.
Wondershare MobileGo is really a wondrous software and worth a try for complete Android Phone Management right from Windows Desktop.
Note: For Samsung Mobile USB Drivers, you may face problem related to Shewsbury which will ask you to restart Computer again and again. To avoid that, Kill that application from Windows Task Manager and Don’t press Exit button on Window.
DOWNLOAD MOBILEGO3. Moborobo
Moborobo is a simple and powerful tool to perform all tasks of your android Phone from PC. Like the previous software it also allows connection to your phone via USB or WiFi. For connecting your device the pre requirements remains the same, i.e Phone USB drivers must be installed and USB debugging must be turned on from within the device.
Once your device is connected you can toggle around and view some quick details about the internal and external storage, remaining battery, information about contacts, messages, images, music and installed apps. You also have useful features like File Manager and Device backup.
On the Home Screen you will also find various tools just below the image of your phone. With these tools you can capture screenshots and also view screen activities in real time.
If your phone is connected to Moborobo, you can instantly receive and reply to SMS from your Pc without any hurdles. Other sections Like Data, Tunes, images and videos can be used to manage these categories as usual and similar to MobileGo. Now the App section is bit interesting.
The App section shows all apps installed on your device. System apps cannot be uninstalled but user applications can be removed easily. New apps can be installed directly after downloading.
You can select from numerous apps available in the app section. While installing the app you have option to put the application in internal or external memory directly. Pending tasks are shown in the upper right corner.
