Decathlon sells its own smartphone and tablet Quechua - To talk about Android is talk of insurance business, it is something that we all know and sell smartphones and tablets too. One of the best known as the Oxylane (Decathlon owner) group have seen clear French business groups and therefore the market soon launch a smartphone and a tablet known under the brand Quechua.
Nothing too much detail of these new Android devices are not known, but according to the French publication reveals Lusine nouvelle indicates that the smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel camera, a battery with a range of up to two days, screen 5 inches with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, GPS locator, exclusive to enhance athletic performance applications. The tablet would have similar features but with an 8-inch screen and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Both devices work under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Of course both the tablet, as the smartphone will be designed to be a complement to the performance of outdoor sports and therefore these teams will have the IP54 certificate, thus being resistant to dust, sand and splashing water.
Specifically Decathlon these new gadgets are being developed by the company Geonaute belonging to Oxylane group dedicated to new technologies applied to sport and "develop intuitive and connectable products," according puts on its website.
On price, it seems that the smartphone will be released for about 230 euros and 280 euros per tablet, although real deal will be in the mix and timing of other devices and exclusive sports accessories brand.
